Privacy Policy

The German version above is the legally binding version. This English translation is provided for convenience.

1. At a glance

This notice explains what happens to your personal data when you visit this website or book our services. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified.

2. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Relatingwise UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G., represented by its managing directors Patricia Heinis and Christakis Christodoulou, Grillparzerstr. 23, 81675 Munich, Germany. Phone: +49 176 87942535, e-mail: info@relatingwise.com.

3. Hosting

Our website is hosted by Raidboxes (Raidboxes GmbH, Hafenstraße 32, 48153 Münster, Germany). When you visit our website, Raidboxes collects various log files including your IP address. Hosting is carried out for the performance of our contracts (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and in our legitimate interest in a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online services by a professional provider (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Raidboxes. Servers are located in Germany.

4. Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of request, IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. Collection is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of the website).

5. SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser bar.

6. Cookies

This website only uses technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the site (e.g. online booking). These are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and Section 25 (2) of the German TDDDG. We currently do not use cookies requiring consent (e.g. for analytics or marketing).

7. Contact by e-mail or phone

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, your enquiry including all resulting personal data will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your request. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract / pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries). Your data remains with us until you request deletion, withdraw your consent, or the purpose no longer applies; mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

8. Online booking (Amelia)

For online appointment booking we use the WordPress plugin Amelia. The data you enter in the booking form (e.g. name, e-mail address, phone number, selected service and time) is processed to carry out the booking and perform the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and stored in our WordPress database on our host’s servers (Raidboxes, see above). Data is only passed on to third parties where necessary to carry out the appointment.

9. Payment provider: Stripe

We use Stripe for payments on this website. For customers within the EU the provider is Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland. When paying via Stripe, the payment data you enter (e.g. name, card details, billing data) is transmitted to and processed by Stripe. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract performance). Data may be transferred to the USA; Stripe relies on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details: https://stripe.com/privacy

10. Video sessions: Google Meet

For online sessions we use Google Meet, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you take part in an online session, Google processes the data required to run the session (e.g. name, e-mail address, connection data, audio/video where applicable). Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of the coaching contract). Sessions are not recorded unless all participants expressly consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details: https://policies.google.com/privacy

11. Your rights

You have the right at any time to: access your stored personal data, its origin, recipients and the purpose of processing (Art. 15 GDPR); rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR); erasure, unless statutory retention obligations apply (Art. 17 GDPR); restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR); data portability (Art. 20 GDPR); withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR); objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR); and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA) (Art. 77 GDPR). For these and any other privacy questions, contact us at info@relatingwise.com.

12. Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or withdraw consent, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storage (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law).
